The age of the vines and the excellent exposure give this wine a personality that reflects the "terroir," the specific character imparted by the soil and place it is grown. A traditional fermentation method is used to bring out the spice and berry flavors concentrated in the fruit. A year of aging in oak barrels enhances the depth, finesse, and complexity.
